New Features
Advanced Server Without Multicast Dependency
ArchestrA Workflow Software Advanced Server architecture is enhanced to allow usage of Advanced Server edition with servers spread across a subnet or VLAN. It can now be used in scenarios with specific DMZ requirements having dependency on multicast protocol.
Advanced server architecture will now also use database for tracking status of the workflow engine servers and support high availability and load balancing. You will be able to view status of the servers deployed in a BPM.NET farm through a friendly interface.
Capabilities
This feature empowers you to:
- Deploy high availability solutions in Cloud environment which does not support multicast
- Use BPM.NET for high availability and high load deployments using out-of-the-box solution
- Build scalable and reliable solutions without dependency of multicast
Support for Viewing the Advanced Servers List
You can now view the details of all the servers and clients configured in the database mode of advanced server from Skelta Central Configuration > Advanced Servers List.
Capabilities
The Advanced Servers List displays the following details:
- Status of the servers and clients
- CPU utilization and levels of the servers and clients
- Date and time when the servers and clients were registered
- Date and time when the servers and clients were last updated
- List of services that are currently running
Ability to Capture User Information while Deleting a Repository
You can now capture the information of the user who deletes the repository in the Skelta Logger console.
Modal Window Support in ArchestrA Workflow Software
The Modal window concept that requires user action on the child window before returning to the parent window is now extended to User and Role Lookup dialog boxes in Forms, Enterprise Console Inbox, and Inbox control in ArchestrA IDE.
Ability to Send Information from a Workflow to the Form that Invokes the Workflow
You can now send information from a workflow executed synchronously using an Invoke Workflow control to the same form that invokes the workflow. You can subsequently view and process the information in the form.
Support for VMware’s High Availability and Disaster Recovery capabilities
Advanced Server edition of ArchestrA Workflow Software with SQL Server now supports the following virtualization environments:
- VMware 5.0: Virtualization with High Availability and Disaster Recovery
- VMware vSphere 5
Support for Unprovisioning a Provisioned Workflow Repository
You can now unprovision a provisioned workflow repository. Unprovisioning is an option of the Workflow Gateway Object to roll back the changes done to the workflow repository. After you provision a workflow repository, you get the option in the user interface to unprovision the workflow repository.
Leveraging Active Directory users when connecting from System Platform Connector to the Workflow Repository
You can leverage Active Directory users when connecting from System Platform Connector to the workflow repository with in same domain. This reduces the administrative overhead with the removal of user synchronization and user replication monitoring. It also provides single user provider login experience when System Platform and the workflow repository are configured to use the same domain.
Support for System Platform and MES Cleanup Tool
The tedious task of deleting the details of the System Platform and MES connectors present in the ArchestrA Workflow Database is now made simple and easy with the System Platform and MES Cleanup Tool.
Enhancements
Support for Parameter Type in Database Activity
Database Activity is now enhanced to display parameter type. This allows you to generate the database schema for queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Support for Multi-value Parameters in Reporting Service
The Reporting Service is now enhanced to support multi-value parameters. This allows you to execute reports by passing multiple values to multi-value parameters from the Report Generator activity.
Support for Controls to Load in IE9 Standards
Workitem list control and workflow list control can now be rendered in IE9 standard mode while embedding in a custom application.
Upload of new version of Work Tasks (iOS) v1.7.0.0 on AppStore
You can now download a new version of Work Tasks (iOS) v1.7.0.0 from the AppStore. This version of Work Tasks includes some minor enhancements and bug fixes.
Third Party Upgrades
